ACCA WELCOMES REGULATORY PAUSE
In one of their first acts, The Trump Administration issued an Executive Order creating a pause in the issuing of any new Federal Regulations. That pause halted the issuance, for the time being, of energy efficiency regulations at the Department of Energy. On January 24th, ACCA issued a statement welcoming the pause. Read More.
ACCA SUPPORTS PERRY FOR DOE
Former Governor Rick Perry (R-Tx) received the support of ACCA in his effort to be confirmed at the next Secretary of Energy. In an effort to bolster his nomination, ACCA and a group of industry partners sent a letter of support to every member of the United States Senate, the group that will vote on whether to confirm Perry to the position. CONTRACTOR COMFORT INDEX UNCHANGED
For over six years, ACCA has measured contractor attitudes towards short-term economic growth with its Contractor Comfort Index (CCI) metric. For December 2016, the CCI was 72, showing that general feelings and attitudes were essentially unchanged from 12 months earlier when the CCI was also 72.
