It is our distinct pleasure to announce the attendance of Board of Public Utlities Commissioner Dianne Solomon at our upcoming South Meeting. Commissioner Solomon will provide a high level overview of New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program as well as infomration on some of the statewide goals of Governor Murphy’s new administration.
About Commissioner Solomon: Dianne Solomon was nominated by Governor Chris Christie to serve as Commissioner of the Board of Public Utilities on April 17, 2013, and confirmed by the New Jersey Senate on June 27, 2013. She served as president and as a member of the Governor’s Cabinet from January 14, 2014, through October 5, 2014.
Prior to her nomination, Mrs. Solomon served as a Commissioner of the South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA). On September 13, 2010, Governor Christie appointed her to the position with the SJTA, which is responsible for operating the Atlantic City Expressway, Atlantic City Airport and shuttle service in and around South Jersey. As Commissioner, she dealt with complex transportation funding and infrastructure issues, as well as tourism services during SJTA’s focus on Atlantic City. Prior to the SJTA, Mrs. Solomon was a member of Governor Christie’s Transition Authorities Subcommittee.

This month, Angela Rubino-Hines will deliver part one of this two-part presentation at our March 21st meeting (South).
